E-mailThirty-one police officers have been arrested in a central Mexican state on suspicion of collaborating with a gang of drug cartel hit men. The Public Safety Department says the officers were arrested as part of a months-long investigation into alleged ties between police and the Zetas in Hidalgo, a state north of Mexico City. Ninety-two police were arrested there in June, and the latest 31 were detained Monday. The investigation began last October, when federal police arrested seven suspected ZETA accountants and found evidence of monthly payments to Hidalgo police from the gang, which is linked to the Gulf cartel. Hundreds of police have been arrested across Mexico for alleged ties to cartels during federal government’s battle against drug trafficking.

The police from Hidalgo is a STATE POLICE, not the FEDERAL POLICE.
The Army and most of the members of the Federal Forces are fighting against the cartels, putting their life on the line.
They are fighting the war that the ”GRINGO authorities” avoid completly.
Yesterday they capture here in Monterrey, some of cartel administrator with 3millions dollars, and 20 plus millions pesos, a great part of this money, in envelopes with the names of the local police forces, ranger forces, THE PRESS !!!, and maybe some politicians.
This day the -FEDERAL FORCES-, capture the most dangerous criminal, linked to some of the Mexico DF druglords.
I’m still waiting for the DEA, the FBI or any kind of ”FEDERAL AMERICAN FORCES”, to make this kind of anouncements.
The ”gringo” authorities want the drugs, they want the same money in there same corrupt hands, they just want to make sure when it crosses the border it comes blood, extortion, torture, and kidnapping free.
