The aid comprises hundreds of tents, thousands of blankets and tonnes of medicines. According to the United Nations, the recent heavy rains and flooding have affected a lot of people in 16 West African nations. The worst hit countries are Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ghana, and Niger.
