Upon instructions issued by H.M. King Mohammed VI, Morocco decided to send emergency humanitarian aid to Yemen, to help citizens who have been displaced as a result of war in the north of the country. Yemeni authorities welcomed with great satisfaction the Moroccan gesture of sending humanitarian aid that was made up mainly of medicines, foodstuff, tents and medical equipment. They also voiced appreciation for the Kingdom’s position supporting Yemen government’s effort to ensure national unity, stability and security.
